            MachNation Rates Software AG’s Cumulocity IoT a Leading Vendor in 2022 IoT Device Management Scorecard for the 6th Consecutive Year
        

Darmstadt, Germany, July 21, 2022 – Software AG (Frankfurt MDAX: SOW) today announced its Cumulocity IoT platform is rated a leading vendor amongst 13 IoT vendors in MachNation’s 2022 IoT Device Management Scorecard. Cumulocity IoT has received this rating for the sixth year in a row. Among the 13 vendors rated, Software AG received the highest total score across a set of requirements spanning four distinct categories (integration, lifecycle management, architecture & security, business & strategy).  

The report identified the following key highlights of the Cumulocity IoT platform:

  • “Cumulocity IoT’s protocol-agnostic approach is critical to supporting a rapidly increasing LPWAN market”
    Software AG recognizes the growing adoption rates of LPWAN network protocols (…), especially for edge use-cases that primarily utilize power-constrained hardware. […] Software AG has implemented a LoRa integration tool into its core device management functionality that enables user to integrate and manage any LoRa device via any LoRa network with Cumulocity IoT.*
