            Software AG Improves Sustainability Performance by 30% in Latest EcoVadis Assessment
        

Company Secures Bronze Medal and positions itself as a Sustainability Leader in the Software Industry

Software AG today announced that it has been awarded a bronze medal in its 2024 assessment by EcoVadis, a leading global provider of business sustainability ratings. With a score of 63 points, this marks a significant improvement from last year’s metric of 48 and also places the company in the top 20% of all companies evaluated.

EcoVadis rates companies across four key themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Software AG achieved notable  improvements in three of these categories—Environment, Labor & Human Rights, and Ethics—demonstrating the company’s commitment to enhancing its  sustainability performance across a broad spectrum of criteria.

The score of 63 also exceeds the average for the software industry, further solidifying Software AG’s position as a leader in integrating sustainable practices within its operations.

The improvement in Software AG’s EcoVadis score is a result of the company’s concerted efforts to integrate sustainability into its business processes. This includes responsible KPI monitoring, as well as the implementation of sustainability-related initiatives.
